About Zest Blog
Three women based in Colorado who want to share our world with you. In one of the most active places in the country, we are always on the go, learning about what is new in fitness, mainly so we can eat the things we love. With a heritage from Eastern Europe and the UK we have developed a rather eclectic palette. Combine that with the health food of California and Colorado and we have a lot of recipes we want to share with you!
This logo was created for ZestBlog.com, a cooking and lifestyle blog by yours truly, Mary, Ali with Kelly Cochran, also in our family. The blog needed a more professional look that was also fun and spoke to the cooking and food aspect of the blog. We created 3 logo options and after a lot of polling, chose the Lemon/Orange logo seen here.
About Stacking Gurus
Forty years ago, Debbie and Norm Compton met in Hawaii, and the rest is history. They have made fitness the key element in both their personal and professional lives. Personal training, stunt work, injuries and their continual quest for excellence compelled them to create “Stacking: Your Skeletal Blueprint for Posture”. Now in their mid-60’s, the Compton’s have been around the block, just faster than most of us! Forty years of knowledge, experience and a touch of the Aloha spirit run through everything they do.
This logo was created after Norm and Debbie wrote their book, “Stacking: Your Skeletal Blueprint for Posture”. They wanted a logo that would show who they are, what they do and that matched their book. We were able to use the same font and color as the book cover. The color was inspired by Norm’s high school football colors in Hawaii. Taking the philosophies from their book about posture mechanics and “finding your triangle” for foot health we landed on a logo that they truly loved.
About Imagine Cattery
Imagine Cattery hopes to bring more attention to the breeds of British Shorthairs & Longhairs by exposing people to what these cats offer as companions. I have had a passion for this breed for many years and realized that there weren’t many opportunities to welcome these cats into my home. By starting Imagine Cattery, I hope that more people will appreciate what this breed is about.
Sharon decided to start a cat breeding company after leaving the world of health and veterinary medicine. She wanted a logo design that would be fun, cheery and the showcased the breed; British Shorthair and Longhair Cats. The Brits are the basis for the Cheshire cat and are know for their distinct coloring, bright eyes, fluffy, “tick-tock” tails and for moving places in their habitat as if by magic. So we created a sparkly and magic inspired logo with a fun font, magic stars, stripes on the cat and even featured their bright gold eyes. Now at every cat show, Sharon and Imagine Cattery can stand out!
About Westside Fisheries
Westside Fisheries is a commercial sockeye salmon fishing business based out of Bristol Bay, Alaska. Established in 1984, Westside Fisheries has been running a set net salmon fishing operation for over 30 years.
Wanting some promotional merchandise to give to their crew, Westside Fisheries commissioned a logo that incorporated the native Alaskan culture, the water color of the brackish water they fish and was able to say the location of the business. Inspired by Alaskan art and totem poles, we created a logo that would fit on a baseball hat, shirts and hoodies that the crewmen and owners love.
About Launching Labs
A team based out of Colorado with a goal to help small to medium businesses with their look, feel, industry presence and growth. PR, marketing, sales, and branding experience brought us to create Launching Labs Marketing. We hope to provide responsiveness often lacking in vendor relationships. Through planning, strategy and consistent execution we know that we can help you or your company get noticed.
When creating out own logo we went through several name options, but knew that we wanted to use a black/red/grey color scheme. The name Launching Labs came to us in knowing that we wanted to help launch young or growing companies. With the black and red color scheme, we looked around and found it in our dog and mascot, Junior, the black lab with a red collar. With the image of Junior launching into water, we found our perfect logo.
About Colorado Imprints
Based in Northern Colorado, Colorado Imprints can customize just about anything. From Vacuum Sealed Tumblers, Water Bottles and Cups to Custom Apparel and Vehicle Decals strives to bring you the best products with your personal or business logo.
We were contacted by Colorado Imprints on behalf of their client, Outlaws Mud Drags, a Northern CO based 4×4 mud race track. The Outlaws had an existing logo that was created by another company for truck decals. When they couldn’t get their old logo vector, Colorado Imprints had us vector the logo from an image of the truck logo, and create a new logo for the “Outlaws Racing For Racks” breast cancer fundraiser. Launching Labs were able to vector their original logo, provide two new fundraiser logos and give the vectored artwork to the Outlaws for future use.
After working with countless companies logos, I learned how truly valuable a brand guideline is. A brand guideline is a document containing the rules and guidelines for the composition, design, and general thematic look-and-feel of all of a brand’s collateral. This is the one used by Launching Labs Marketing to organize and best use the brand’s assets.
